Company Overview
The Company is a TSX-listed junior mining company with one operating mine and a significant
exploration and development portfolio. The Company is focused on disciplined capital allocation,
operational transparency, and responsible growth while delivering long-term value to shareholders
and stakeholders.

Role Purpose
The Health & Safety Superintendent at Tamarack plays a critical role in building the foundation for
a strong, sustainable safety culture before operations begin. This is a unique opportunity to shape
how safety shows up from day one, establishing the systems, standards, and expectations that will
carry into full production.

While the site is not yet in production, there is an active exploration program requiring daily
safety oversight in Minnesota, with seasonal expansion into Michigan. This role is highly visible
and hands-on, partnering closely with exploration teams, contractors, and leadership to ensure safe
execution in dynamic field environments.

Success in this role means balancing building for the future with managing the present, embedding
our values of Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence into both the systems we
create and the work happening today.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Leadership & Culture
•  Act as the site safety leader, establishing clear expectations and building a strong,
values-driven safety culture from the ground up.
•  Be highly visible in the field, working alongside exploration crews and contractors to reinforce
safe work practices and address risks in real time.

•  Foster a culture of open communication where hazards, near misses, and concerns are actively
    reported and addressed.
•  Partner with leaders to build safety ownership and accountability at all levels.

Building Safety Systems & Readiness

•  Lead the development and implementation of Tamarack’s health and safety management systems,
policies, and procedures in preparation for operations.
•  Establish fit-for-purpose processes that are practical, scalable, and aligned with regulatory
    and company requirements.
•  Support operational readiness by ensuring safety systems are in place, understood, and
    consistently applied before production begins.
•  Implement Talon’s fatal risk management framework early in the project lifecycle.

Exploration Program Oversight

•  Provide daily health and safety oversight for active exploration programs in Minnesota, with
    seasonal support in Michigan.
•  Ensure contractors and field teams operate in alignment with site safety expectations,
    standards, and regulatory requirements.
•  Support safe planning and execution of exploration activities, including drilling, fieldwork,
    and mobilization/demobilization.
•  Monitor field conditions and adapt safety approaches to evolving risks and
    environments.

Incident Management & Continuous Improvement

•  Lead or support incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective
    actions are meaningful and sustainable.
•  Capture and apply learnings from incidents, near misses, and field observations to continuously
    strengthen safety practices.
•  Track and analyze safety data to proactively identify trends and improvement
    opportunities.

Regulatory Compliance & OSHA/ MSHA Integration

•  Ensure full compliance with applicable health and safety regulations, with a strong focus on
    OSHA/MSHA requirements.
•  Establish OSHA/MSHA-aligned processes, reporting, and documentation in advance of
    production.
•  Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections, audits, and agency
    interactions.
•  Proactively embed OSHA/MSHA expectations into daily work practices and leadership behaviors.

Training & Engagement

•  Develop and implement safety training programs to ensure employees and contractors are prepared,
    informed, and aligned.
•  Support leaders in delivering effective safety conversations, field engagements, and onboarding
    experiences.
•  Build awareness and capability across the site to ensure safety is understood as a shared
    responsibility.

Required Experience & Qualifications

•  5–10 years of progressive health and safety experience, including leadership roles in mining or
    heavy industrial environments.
•  Required: Direct, hands-on experience working under OSHA/MSHA regulations, with strong knowledge of
    standards, inspections, reporting, and enforcement.
•  Proven experience building or implementing health and safety systems, ideally in a
    pre-operational, project, or start-up environment.
•  Experience supporting exploration, drilling, or field-based operations, including contractor
    oversight in dynamic work environments.
•  Demonstrated ability to work in both strategic (build/design) and operational (field execution)
    capacities.
•  Strong background in incident investigation, risk assessment, and risk-based management
    systems.
•  Experience leading or supporting regulatory inspections and audits, including serving as a site
    representative.
•  Ability to build relationships and influence across all levels, with a visible, practical, and
    field-oriented leadership style.
•  Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent
    experience.
