Talon’s Project Services team is a great opportunity for career growth because the team has diverse responsibilities. On a weekly basis, the team leads or assists with:

Cross-Team Integration: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and environmental teams to ensure project alignment and integration.

Bottleneck Resolution: Identify and help resolve bottlenecks or delays by proactively coordinating with team members

Cyber Security and Information Technology: Assist with the implementation of cyber security policies and contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Work closely with Talon’s internal IT team.

Document Management: Format documents to Talon’s style guides and ensure that ADA compliance is met when applicable.

Data Management: Architect, build, and maintain data storage systems for diverse disciplines.

Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to streamline workflows, improve coordination, and enhance team performance.

Project Support: Assist in tracking project progress, scheduling, and budgeting using project management software and reporting tools.
Because of the team’s breadth, successful members tend to specialize in some (but not all) of the scopes described above. Interested applicants should specify their areas of existing experience and / or growth opportunities.

The Requirements

At least 1 year of relevant experience in project coordination, administrative, or junior project controls role.

Strong willingness and ability to learn new systems, standards, and tools.

Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives that also fulfill larger company objectives.

Demonstrated research skills and analytical thinking.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Technologically confident with experience using business software platforms and comfort troubleshooting common issues.

Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Planner, Outlook and Teams)

The Fine Print
Depending on the areas of existing experience and / or growth opportunities this position may require regular site visits to the project site(s). (approx. 4-6 times per year). This role is strictly for candidates eligible to work in the United States of America and pass federal government grant-recipient employee requirements.
